Mission

Saint Dominic School is a Christ centered learning community that fosters Catholic faith and Christian values in our students while striving for academic excellence. We prepare our students to become responsible leaders and role models within the Church, family and community.

School History

Saint Dominic School is a pre kindergarten through grade five school located below Meriden Mountain on the beautiful grounds of Saint Dominic Church. Saint Dominic Parish opened a nursery school in October of 1978. A full day kindergarten program was implemented in the fall of 1981 and with each passing year, another grade was added.

Saint Dominic School is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges and the State of Connecticut. We are proud of our long history of providing quality Catholic education for students of the greater Southington area for the past 30 years.
